Whether you’re experiencing the effects of a cold or simply need the lift provided by pleasing scents, try this chamomile blend.
Makes about 2 ounces
3/4 ounce sage (Salvia officinalis)
3/4 ounce chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile)
1/3 ounce thyme (Thymus serpyllum)
Put 2 tablespoons mixed herbs in a large bowl and add 1 quart boiling water. Lean over and breathe in the mixture, trapping the herbal steam by placing a towel or cloth over your head and extending to the bowl. Continue to do so for 10 minutes. – c/o Heirloom Herbs
