Renpure Organics Color Protecting Leave-In Shine & Seal…

I recently made this purchase, and wouldn’t you know it, I’m glad I did. It was a – hum, that looks interesting – kinda moment. And, the price was right… $4.99. Now, when I usually come across a skin care or hair care product that costs less than a loaf of bread, I tend to shy away from it. Not sure why, but perhaps I’m just so used to purchasing products that cost an arm-and-a-leg, it’s odd not to have to give-up so many body parts.

On somewhat of a side note, I should mention that I recently cut my hair so short that I could probably be mistaken for a boy, from the back. I did this because my hair was beyond repair, too many trips to the hair salon will do this to you… oops! So, even though I cut a lot of the dry and frizzy ends off, I still felt that my hair could use some TLC. Since I really wasn’t interested in purchasing an expensive product (they don’t always work that well and the ingredients aren’t always very friendly), I was open to just about any drugstore find. But I still needed something that would give my hair shine and protect my color, without drenching it in chemicals; so I was willing to fork over some dough – of course – but I didn’t want to break the bank, like I usually do.

When I saw this bad boy at my local drugstore, besides noticing the lovely price-tag, the first thing I did was check the ingredients – I was quite impressed. I couldn’t resist, my inner guinea pig was calling out – do it! So I did it. It has now been slightly over two weeks since I started using this product and I’m extremely satisfied with the results. My hair is full of life… as in, shine galore! Also, my color looks fabulous and my very short locks are oh-so manageable. Needless to say, I am one happy camper :D

(FYI – this product is colorless and contains a mild floral fragrance.)

  1. I love that you have an inner guinea pig :) This is a highly intriguing product. I no longer use shampoo or conditioner (can’t wait to blog about my experience!), but am always interested in trying products to enhance the look of my locks. I wonder if I can find this locally!
