I recently received a 1.8 ml/0.06 fl. oz. sample of Pink Sugar Eau De Toilette by Aquolina, courtesy of Beauty Army. As most of you may know by now, it’s not like me to give much thought or consideration to any kind of parfum/fragrance product (due to sensitivity), let alone purchase it. So you’re probably wondering what the heck was I thinking… not sure
I think it may have been the packaging that caught my eye – perhaps. Although, I do have to say that eau de toilette sprays are less offensive and not as concentrated as parfums are… also, because of this, they don’t last as long and need to be re-applied throughout the day. So yes, I am very sensitive to most of the parfums out there, but an eau de toilette (in my opinion) is a much delicate version of a parfum or scented lotion.
After all of that mumbo-jumbo, let’s get back to Pink Sugar. As I was saying, I received this gem of a scent courtesy of a sampling program, which is probably the only way I would have ever heard of this product. And I’m glad I did, because this may be my new favorite scent. The reason being is because the scent reminds me of a very familiar and often used ingredient in baked goods… vanilla extract. I can’t explain I how much I love the scent of vanilla extract, so I’ll just say I LOVE IT
You can bet your bottom dollar that I’ll be sporting this scent like it’s going out of style. However, to give you guys a better idea of what comes to mind when wearing this lovely scent… sweet, warm, delicious, sugary, light, girly, feminine and flirty. And by no means am I a parfum wearin’ girly-girl, but I’ll gladly take a bullet for this one.
Now, besides vanilla, there are a few other incredible ingredients that complete this sensual package: Bergamots, Orange, Raspberry, Fig Leaf, Liquorice Blossom, Lily, Barbe-a-papa (cotton candy), Red Fruits, Strawberry, Sandalwood, etc.
You can purchase this product at the following websites: sephora.com, fragrancenet.com, kohls.com, amazon.com, theperfumespot.com, etc.
Enjoy my lovelies!
